What We Do
Neonatal Family Rooms
At Libby Mae’s Little Angels, we renovate and furnish family rooms connected to Neonatal Units, transforming them into warm, welcoming spaces.
These rooms offer a vital place for parents to stay when their baby is critically ill, when they live far from the hospital, or as they prepare to take their baby home. Sadly, they are also sometimes used during end-of-life care, providing families with privacy, comfort, and dignity during the most difficult moments.
Your support helps us make these spaces feel more like home because every family deserves comfort and care when it matters most.
Sponsored Intensive Care Room
Libby Mae’s Little Angels is proud to sponsor the Daffodil Intensive Care Room at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, a space that holds deep personal meaning for us.
This very room is where Libby spent the first few days of her life.
By sponsoring it, we aim to provide comfort, care, and support to other families facing similar journeys.
It’s our way of giving back and ensuring that every family has a peaceful, well-equipped space during some of their most challenging moments.

Memory Boxes for Bereaved Families
At Libby Mae’s Little Angels, we provide Memory Boxes to families who experience the heartbreaking loss of a baby in neonatal care.
Each box contains carefully chosen items designed to bring comfort and help parents create and preserve precious memories.
These keepsakes offer a gentle way to honour their baby’s life and support the grieving process.

Keeping Families Connected with iPads
At Libby Mae’s Little Angels, we supply iPads to neonatal units across our region to help keep babies and their families connected, especially during times when they can’t be together in person.
These iPads have been used for video calls, sharing updates, and offering comfort to parents who are unable to be at their baby’s bedside. They proved absolutely essential during the COVID-19 pandemic, connecting families during periods of restricted hospital access.
Thanks to your support, we can continue to provide this vital connection when it’s needed most.
Spreading Joy on Mother’s Day and Christmas
At Libby Mae’s Little Angels, we believe in creating special moments for families with babies in neonatal care, especially during meaningful times of the year.
On Mother’s Day, we provide thoughtful gifts for mums spending the day by their baby’s side, reminding them they are seen, supported, and celebrated.
At Christmas, we deliver festive gifts for both mum and baby when Santa, his elf, and helpers visit each neonatal unit. For many families, this magical visit is their baby’s very first meeting with Santa, a moment filled with joy, hope, and lasting memories.
Thanks to your support, we’re able to bring smiles and comfort to families when they need it most.

Libby Mae's Little Angels is a children's charity based in the Midlands, UK, dedicated to supporting neonatal units by providing essential medical equipment and resources and much more.
How We've helped
We have provided funding for ventilators, incubators, infusion pumps, and monitors, and also renovate parent accommodation rooms to create a more comforting environment for families during difficult times.
Libby’s Story
Libby Mae Sharratt was born on 26/04/2013 and was immediately placed in intensive care. After several tests, she was diagnosed with a heart condition, and her family was told that nothing could be done to save her.
