Late last year we were contacted by one of the lovely Nurses at Warwick SCBU, a Nurse who had cared for our precious Libby Mae at Birmingham Women’s back in 2013.

Kim reached out to ask whether we could support renovation works on their Transitional Care ward and in two of the SCBU rooms. We visited Warwick Hospital, walked the spaces with Kim, and together created a plan to make the areas feel calmer, softer, and far less clinical.

We agreed on fresh decoration, new chairs, buddy beds so Dads can stay with Mom and baby, soft furnishings, lamps, and thoughtful touches to make the rooms feel more like home. Thanks to incredible funding of £11,000 from the @morrisonsfoundation, we were able to bring that vision to life.

Furniture has already arrived and is making a real difference. Yesterday, Team Libby transformed the spaces, and the feedback so far has been wonderful.

We are so proud to make this kind of impact in memory of our beautiful daughter, her legacy shining through in every room we help to brighten.
