At our Ice Ball on 15th November 2025, we proudly presented three awards to truly deserving recipients who embody the spirit of Libby Mae’s Little Angels.

✨ The BOSS Award 2025

This year’s BOSS Award was presented to Jemini Dienshan, a dedicated Staff Nurse on the SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) at Warwick Hospital. Jemini was nominated by parents whose baby she cared for, describing her extraordinary effort, commitment, and compassion. With so many heartfelt nominations from across the West Midlands, the judges faced a difficult decision—because in our eyes, every nominee is a winner. Jemini’s touching nomination stood out and deeply moved the panel.

💜 #Doingit4Libby Award

Our #Doingit4Libby Award went to Modern Electric Tattoo Studio and Chel’s Piercings, who organised a special fundraising day on Libby’s birthday (26th April). They tattooed and pierced walk-in customers throughout the day, generously donating every penny raised—over £5,000—to the charity. An incredible effort by an amazing team who continue to support us with passion and creativity. Thank you!

🙌 Special Recognition Award

This award was presented to our incredible volunteers Nicola, Jess, Emily, and Lucy. This team—an auntie and her three nieces—go above and beyond for the charity,

never saying no to any request. From summer fetes to rainy days, carnival parades to setting up rooms for our annual ball, they are always there, dependable and full of heart. Though they never seek thanks, we wanted to honour them for their unwavering support and commitment.

⭐ Star with a Star Award

And finally, we presented our Star with a Star. This very special award went to our son, Riley—Libby’s brother. Riley is an incredible member of Team Libby: always championing everything we do, spreading the word about the charity, and bringing smiles wherever he goes. If you were at the Ball, you’ll have heard his amazing speech—written and delivered entirely on his own at just 11 years old. The room fell silent as he spoke, and when he finished, it erupted into applause. Riley truly is our star, and we couldn’t be prouder.
